Lori Weisman is a psychotherapist who has 40 years of experience working with traumatic brain injury.

Her career began as a speech pathologist working at a world renown rehab hospital in southern California. This gave her a solid understanding of the intricacies of the brain and the unique challenges that come with brain injury.
She went on to create the first transitional living center in Southern California and in Utah.  She than became a psychotherapist specializing in working with traumatic brain injury and couples’ therapy. Lori consults with attorneys and has served as an expert witness in cases.
She is a past board member and has taught classes in our community education program on Relationships and TBI. Currently, she has a full-time practice in Bellevue, WA. and consults and trains healthcare professionals to serve the needs of this population.  She offers webinars for individuals and couples who have sustained a TBI to help them with the challenges they face and provides solutions to adapt to the many changes that are experienced.
