Keith Robertson joined Goal 17 Media as Director of Design & Digital Experience where he is responsible for driving the company’s brand and creative work.
Prior to joining Goal 17 Media, Keith spent 20 years as the Principal & Creative Director at Keith Robertson Design (formerly Ten Foot Design) where he led the development of client brands, with a primary focus on entrepreneurs of new and emerging companies.
Keith began his career working in media planning and buying at many of the country’s top advertising agencies including Grey; Hill, Holliday; Foot Cone & Belding, Ketchum; Goodby, Silverstein & Partners; Goldberg, Moser, O’Neil; Anderson & Lembke; and Katsin Loeb. His clients included Nissan Motor Corporation, Infiniti Division of Nissan, Panasonic, Uniroyal Goodrich, 3M, Revlon, Kohler, Mitsubishi Motors, Porsche, Pepsico, and Bank of America.
Before starting his own design studio, Keith worked as the Creative Director for Seattle-based merchandise agency BDA, and as Art Director/Design Manager at Eddie Bauer’s corporate office, where he was responsible for the creative development of the brand in more than 500 retail stores worldwide.
As an undergraduate student, Keith majored in Marketing at James Madison University. He also received a Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Over the course of his career, Keith’s work has taken him to New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Hawaii, and San Diego.
Keith is an avid traveler, surfer, printmaker and passionate animal conservationist. He’s spent many years working and volunteering on behalf of endangered species at San Diego Zoo Global, and The Marine Mammal Center in Sausalito, California. He currently resides in San Diego, California and can often be found enjoying the water with his dog, Asher.
